Ross and his books have been featured on thousands of TV and radio programs over the past 25 years, including CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and the CBC, as well as in the pages of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today. Ross' journey into writing started back in the late '80s at the University of Minnesota, when he tried out for and got cut from the school's top-ranked Golden Gopher hockey team. Wanting to still be a part of the team, however, Ross opted for the next best thing... to become the team mascot "Goldy the Gopher!" He then wrote a book about it, "Gopher Hockey by the Hockey Gopher," and now, nearly 50 books later, the rodent-turned-writer has made a career out of it — truly living his passion each and every day.
